A Perth technology services team is looking for a Systems Support Analyst to assist with escalated support, routine server checks and business system administration. This hybrid role suits someone with three years of IT experience who has moved beyond basic service desk work and wants to strengthen infrastructure skills. You will help monitor systems, review backup outcomes, perform user and permission changes, and troubleshoot issues across Windows, Microsoft 365 and core business platforms. The role requires careful documentation, clear escalation habits and a practical approach to maintaining reliable services.

The role also requires consistent follow-through, careful note taking and a practical attitude toward learning new systems while supporting business users.Essential criteria:

• Three years of experience in IT support, systems support or junior infrastructure administration.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, file services and account administration.
• Ability to review monitoring alerts, backup results, patching outcomes and routine health checks.
• Experience troubleshooting escalated desktop, account, application and connectivity issues using a structured method.
• Ability to document technical actions, service checks and handover notes clearly.
• Willingness to escalate risks, failed tasks or unfamiliar infrastructure problems with useful supporting information.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Azure, VMware, Hyper-V or backup and recovery testing.
• Basic PowerShell skills for administration, checks or reporting.
• Experience maintaining technical runbooks, diagrams or support procedures.
