A Melbourne enterprise technology team is looking for a Desktop Engineer to support end-user computing, device builds and workplace technology services. This onsite role suits someone with three years of desktop or endpoint support experience who is comfortable working directly with users and technical teams. You will assist with Windows 11 devices, Microsoft 365 applications, hardware refresh activity, application deployment support, incident resolution and user onboarding tasks. The role requires practical troubleshooting, good customer service and the ability to maintain accurate records for devices, software and support activity.

Essential criteria:

• Three years of experience in desktop engineering, desktop support, endpoint support or field support.
• Ability to support Windows 11 devices, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, peripherals and meeting room technology.
• Experience preparing devices, assisting with new starter setups, troubleshooting user profiles and resolving hardware issues.
• Understanding of software deployment, device compliance, asset tracking and standard desktop support procedures.
• Ability to document incidents, service requests, known fixes, equipment changes and escalation notes accurately.
• Professional communication style and awareness of security, privacy and device-handling requirements.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, endpoint analytics or compliance policies.
• Experience with hardware refresh projects or SOE image testing.
• Basic PowerShell skills for device checks or repeatable support activities.
