A Sydney cloud consultancy is looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to assist with customer cloud environments, operational checks and service desk escalations. This hybrid role suits someone with three years of IT support experience and practical exposure to cloud-hosted services or Microsoft 365 administration. You will help review monitoring alerts, complete documented cloud administration tasks, support customer access requests and gather evidence for senior cloud engineers. The position provides a useful pathway into cloud engineering, DevOps or platform operations while still requiring strong customer service, careful documentation and disciplined troubleshooting habits.

Essential criteria:

• Three years of IT support experience, ideally with exposure to Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365 or cloud-hosted services.
• Ability to respond to cloud support tickets involving access, alerts, service health and basic configuration issues.
• Experience following runbooks for monitoring checks, backup reviews, capacity warnings and operational updates.
• Ability to collect evidence for escalation, including logs, timelines, affected services and actions completed.
• Good documentation skills for customer environment notes, runbooks, service changes and handovers.
• Awareness of secure access, change-control and incident-management processes when supporting cloud services.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Azure Virtual Machines, storage accounts, AWS EC2 or cloud identity services.
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Interest in cloud engineering, DevOps practices or infrastructure automation.
