Job Description

A national manufacturing group is looking for a Cloud Database Engineer to operate managed databases for reliable cloud applications. The position offers a remote arrangement and supports technology services used by teams across Australia.

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of practical experience in cloud database engineering.
  • Hands-on capability with Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL.
  • Automate provisioning, tuning, backup and resilience controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver work within agreed service targets.
  • Commitment to secure practices, peer review and continuous service improvement.
