A Melbourne managed services provider is seeking a Junior MSP Support Engineer to work across customer tickets, remote troubleshooting and routine operational tasks. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with two years of IT support experience who wants exposure to different environments and technologies. You will help small and medium business customers with Microsoft 365, Windows devices, account administration, remote support and simple connectivity issues. The role suits someone organised, service-focused and keen to develop stronger technical skills while following managed services processes and escalation standards.

The role also requires consistent follow-through, careful note taking and a practical attitude toward learning new systems while supporting business users.Essential criteria:

• Two years of experience in helpdesk, desktop support, MSP support or general IT support roles.
• Ability to resolve common Microsoft 365, Windows, email, printing, VPN and account-related incidents.
• Basic Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration skills, including users, groups, licences and mailboxes.
• Experience using remote support tools to investigate issues and confirm fixes with users.
• Ability to maintain ticket notes, time entries, customer documentation and clear escalation summaries.
• Strong customer service approach and willingness to follow change-control and security procedures.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Azure, Intune, backup tools or remote monitoring platforms.
• Experience supporting multiple customers or working from a managed services queue.
• Foundational Microsoft, networking or ITIL certification.
