A Sydney software company is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support delivery pipelines, platform operations and cloud-hosted application environments. This remote role suits someone with four years of technical experience across systems, software delivery or cloud support who is ready to work more deeply with automation. You will assist product teams with CI/CD issues, environment configuration, monitoring alerts, release support and operational documentation. The role is practical and delivery focused, requiring someone who can troubleshoot calmly, automate repeatable tasks and help developers release software in a controlled and reliable way.

Essential criteria:

• Four years of experience across DevOps, systems support, cloud support, software delivery or platform operations.
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, Docker and basic cloud-hosted application support.
• Ability to troubleshoot failed builds, deployment issues, environment configuration and monitoring alerts.
• Experience maintaining deployment documentation, runbooks, release notes and support handover information.
• Understanding of secure access, change control, version control and basic release management practices.
• Good communication skills when working with developers, testers, support teams and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or AWS services.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with observability tools, logging platforms or infrastructure-as-code workflows.
