A Melbourne cloud services provider is seeking a Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to assist customers with collaboration, identity and productivity platforms. This remote role suits someone with four years of IT support experience and strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration. You will support issues involving Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 apps, user access and Entra ID. The position involves customer communication, investigation through admin centres, clear documentation and careful escalation of security or tenant configuration issues that require senior review.

The role also suits someone who can balance careful troubleshooting, accurate documentation and consistent follow-through while supporting business users.Essential criteria:

• Four years of IT support experience with regular Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting responsibilities.
• Ability to support Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 apps and tenant settings.
• Experience with user, licence, mailbox, group, MFA and permission administration.
• Ability to investigate issues using admin centres, message trace, service-health information and audit details.
• Strong written communication and ability to document technical findings and customer-facing steps clearly.
• Good judgement when escalating complex security, migration, mail flow or tenant configuration issues.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Intune, Defender for Office 365 or conditional access policies.
• Understanding of DNS records used for email, authentication and Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience assisting with mailbox migrations, tenant clean-up or collaboration governance.
